Mohammad Abbas torpedoed Australia for the second time in four days as Pakistan secured a series-sealing, 373-run win in the second Test in Abu Dhabi.

The Black Caps face Pakistan in the first of three T20 Internationals on October 31st, with three one-day Internationals and three Tests to follow.

Sarfraz praised seamer Mohammad Abbas, who claimed his first 10-wicket Test haul and was named man of the series after Australia were bowled out for just 164 on the penultimate day.

Pakistan and Australia will now play a three-match Twenty20 global series starting October 24.

Australian opener Usman Khawaja could not bat after suffering a recurrence of a knee injury during practice on Thursday.

Australia were set a big target of 538 to win the second Test after some useful contributions from the Pakistan batting line-up saw them declare at 400/9. Abbas then had Mitchell Marsh lbw on 5 when Pakistan successfully went for a video referral against umpire Richard Illingworth's not out decision.

Pakistan bowler Mohammed Abbas, 28, had figures of 62-5 from Australia's second innings to register a 10-wicket haul.

Marnus Labuschagne, playing his second Test, grafted his way to 43, but was dismissed shortly after lunch as he top-edged a short ball from Abbas to substitute wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan.

A darting Abbas inswinger trapped opening batsman Aaron Finch (31) plumb in front of the stumps before captain Tim Paine's off-stump was knocked back for a duck in the same over.

Khawaja twisted his left knee in the warm-up before the start of play yesterday, and scans have shown that the batsman has suffered a meniscal tear.

In weird scenes early on day three in Abu Dhabi, Azhar convened mid-pitch with Asad Shafiq after an edge to Peter Siddle which flew past gully and seemed destined for the boundary.
