Antarctic Sea Ice Growing – Is Climate Change REAL?

At complete odds with climate change models, the Antarctic sea ice has grown, not shrunk! Greenhouse gas and climate change fanatics should duck for cover at this point.

A study conducted by the National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) shows evidence that between 2000 – 2014, cooler than average sea surface temperatures in the eastern pacific have caused an expansion of the antarctic sea ice. The big question is WHY?. Why is the antarctic sea or ice sheets growing, when climate change is causing the earth to warm up?

Sea ice is expanding

“The sea ice surrounding Antarctica has been slowly increasing in area since the satellite record began in 1979. But the rate of increase rose nearly five fold between 2000 and 2014, following the IPO transition to a negative phase in 1999.”

“Compared to the Arctic, global warming causes only weak Antarctic sea ice loss, which is why the IPO can have such a striking effect in the Antarctic,” said Bitz. “There is no comparable natural variability in the Arctic that competes with global warming.”

We have always believed that the impact made by humans on the earth is a small fraction of what the earth naturally produces in terms of green house gases. Thats what we believe and many will disagree. Its what we are doing to nature thats causing all our problems.

As humans, we have been cutting down huge forests and burning down vast landscapes, removing the very things that help keep order and balance above our heads. This has weakened the earths ability to naturally protect itself. This is what we are witnessing now – extreme / intense weather patterns worldwide – not ‘climate change’. It sounds better than “we are fools who have caused this because we ruined 50% of the earths green wild life”.
